Frequently Asked Questions
Untappd Beer Festival is a one-day, two session celebration of beer Untappd’s community of breweries and craft beer enthusiasts. Enjoy over 300 beers from 100+ breweries from around the U.S.
The Untappd Beer Festival will follow state and local vaccination and mask mandates. At this time, there are no vaccination or mask mandates for events of this size outdoors. That said, should mandates change Untappd reserves the right to amend this requirement in accordance with state and local law.
Attendees should purchase tickets with the understanding that state and local regulations related to Covid – 19 may change and that Untappd may be required to change policies to comply. Therefore, a change in the vaccination and mask requirement will not warrant a refund. Should Untappd cancel the festival for any reason, ticket holders will be refunded. Tickets are transferable to friends or family members. Untappd is not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten wristbands or lanyards, or for the replacement of wristbands/lanyards for any reason. All breweries advertised have confirmed their appearance at Untappd Beer Festival; however, breweries are subject to change without notice. There will be no refunds or exchanges resulting from the failure of any brewery to appear at the festival.
We previously communicated that the Untappd Beer Festival – Charlotte would be held rain or shine and that, in the event of inclement weather, the event would be moved to the adjacent Grady Cole Center. While the event will still be held in the event of rainfall without lightning or other severe weather threats, we are providing an important update on our weather cancellation policy.
Due to unforeseen issues with permitting to allow beer sampling inside the Grady Cole Center, the Grady Cole Center will only be used as a shelter-in-place in the event of isolated, severe weather requiring evacuation from the American Legion Memorial Stadium. Should the event, venue and security staff determine a severe weather emergency is in the vicinity of the festival during the event, all participants (attendees, brewery participants, and other staff) will be asked to shelter-in-place in the Grady Cole Center until it is safe to return to the field.
In the event of a cancellation of either session in its entirety, ticket holders for that session will receive a refund of the ticket purchase price for that session.
You will have unlimited 2oz sample pours as part of your admission ticket.
